“Leslie helped me make amazing lifestyle changes that I didn’t think were possible! Her knowledge and dedication were inspiring, and together we created a plan that is easy for me to stick to, even a year later. She took the guess work out of healthy eating.”
– Andrea, Bethesda, Maryland
Hello and welcome! I’m a certified health coach, mind body educator and a personal trainer. Most importantly, I give you permission to create the space for yourself to adopt simple, attainable lifestyle tools and be your healthiest self. I’ve made it my life’s work to help people embrace three key lifestyle tools that will create a life you love.
I work with clients who struggle with varying digestive health issues, lack energy and struggle with poor stress management. Without the right lifestyle tools, stress, a lack of self-care and daily movement will deeply effect your health and vitality. I too, suffered from IBS, ongoing skin issues, immune system problems and several missed diagnoses. I took my health in to my own hands to better myself through attainable lifestyle “tweaks,” rather than a complete lifestyle change. I help my clients by using step-by-programs so you can get clear on what your body needs to live healthy and thrive.
Why do I do this work? I want to help people to heal in a way that I works on a profound level. My mom had MS for over 35 years and I spent years researching why she developed this disease. Before her death in 2009, I was able to tie her immune system issues to food allergies, poor gut health and poor detoxification. My mom’s inability to cope with stress also played a large factor in her progression of disease following the death of my brother as a toddler. I also witnessed this stress of grief first hand with the passing of both of my parents. I was able to come out stronger because of the well- being and functional training techniques I’ve adopted for optimal survival. Life is truly a roller coaster and all beings deserve to be educated on the optimal lifestyle tools that are available to them. My motto is, “Education Empowers Change,” and I empower my clients to explore which of my tools they will adopt to create their healthiest lifestyle.
What you get from me is a well being bootcamp! Step-by-step, you will learn to adopt simple lifestyle practices, functional training techniques and mind body awareness to live life from a grounded place for optimal well-being.
My goal is to help you adopt the tools you crave to
live in the moment, eat simply, develop a fitness regimen and regain your health.

My Bio:
As the Director and Founder of Trifecta Wellness, I’ve spent 15 years in corporate America working at The American College of Cardiology, Kaiser Permanente, a national healthcare IT, association management and two corporate wellness companies. Even though my career has been in the healthcare arena since 1996, I kept observing stressed out employees who struggled to find their work/ life balance. This is when my passion for helping others turned my side business in to my life’s work.
What brought me to where I am today:
For over a decade, I struggled with food allergies without knowing it. Diagnosed with IBS, thyroid issues and auto-immune issues that doctor’s couldn’t solve, I was tired of being tired! A severe hip injury lead me to focus on going to nutrition school after I could not exercise for two years. That’s a long time for someone who always identified themselves as an athlete! In nutrition school, I learned more about food allergies, how they related to join pain, skin issues, mood swings, energy levels and digestion – bingo! In the meantime, I found my passion for nutrition and health coaching. What a blessing in disguise!
My first “aha: moment that had me coming back for more:
Mindful nutrition techniques lead me to learn about out the wonderful state of calm that I achieved in my mindfulness practices. I took yoga classes in the past, but I was doing it for the physical reasons – to stretch and stand in my hands again being a past gymnast. I never thought much about mindfulness off of the mat until I was going deeper in to this place with my nutrition clients. In 2010, I took my client practice further when I became yoga teacher. This is where is all changed – I learned so much more about myself in yoga teacher training. I gained confidence in my ability to speak in front of groups, my self esteem improved and I found a deeper connection to myself, my heart and my own practice. I strive to help people realize their full potential in much the same way.
One thing I’d like you to know about me and my work:
I walk the talk and I also slip up – we are all human! I aim to live this lifestyle because it brings me to my best self. When I am not practicing this way of life each day, my soul and my body suffer. Once you have experienced it, you will see and feel the difference! I want to live in a world where what we put in to our bodies, how we think, and what we say are all in alignment. It IS possible and I am here to guide you on your journey to optimal health.
When I’m not helping others, you can find me scoping out my next wellness retreat location, spending time with friends, drinking good wine or coordinating a social event.
My current projects include:
- Writing a future book on putting yourself first without the guilt and managing stress as a caretaker for aging parents.
- Being more diligent about blogging and capturing my recipes in photos healthy lifestyles examples for motivating others.

- I cannot start my day without first snuggling with my silly puggle, Nena
